Women’s Health Rights Advocacy, and Rights of Adolescents and Youth (Tarang)
Program (i) was implemented on the issues of women’s Health Rights. An advocacy in 10 villages of Naugarh block of District Chandauli was conducted. The Program focuses on promoting community monitoring system so as to ensure effective services of NRHM and ICDS that can reduce IMR and MMR.
Program (ii) focused on Sexual and reproductive Health Rights of Adolescents and young people along with Gender Equality and accessibility on the Services as referred under the guidelines of Sabla project run by WCD, GoI, New Delhi. Named as Tarang, this program extended its activities in the three blocks, i.e. Chakia, Naugarh and Sahabganj in the district of Chandauli (UP). The program was expanded in the working areas of 40 AWCs covering 40 Villages.
