Health is an elementary factor for a human being. Health encompasses many dimensions in itself. Hence, the prime focus on the organization has been working on reproductive health and rights issues with the adolescent girls and women. Gramya been working to mobilize the local communities to have access to the government health services, demand raising on the services if not availed by the front line workers or service providers, increase in the coverage of immunization, institutional deliveries in the outreach or remotely situated villages. There are many health hazards pertaining to the reproductive health such as unsafe abortion practices though it might not be reported, officially, high risk pregnancies due to early age marriage or malnutrition, coercion, reproductive tract infection (RTI), sexually transmitted infection/diseases (STI/STD), unmet need of safe abortion, insufficient health infrastructure especially for neo natal care, intensive care units for new born children and having access to the such health facilities to the targeted communities are some of the key concerns.
